For the past 10 years, Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches have been providing the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families with vouchers for all of their social workers to use for kids who have been taken from their homes and need a hot meal while they await placement. In most cases, a child will have to spend the entire day waiting in the DCF offices until a home is found for him/her. DCF provides children with the chance to visit a familiar and friendly environment such as Papa Gino's or D'Angelo to help ease their anxiety during a difficult time.
